Kirby and Alex may not have intended to have a summer camp feel to their session, but it certainly fit them as a couple. These two high school sweet hearts were so much fun to work with. Sesqui park is beautiful any time of year, but particularly so in the summer.
Elizabeth + Lee - Wedding at Boyce Chapel and 1208 Washington Place
Elizabeth and Lee’s black tie wedding was elegant, chic, and so much fun.
The details for their wedding were so lovely and sophisticated. From their custom dance floor, to the hanging floral arrangements in the reception. With all of this beauty, their wedding was anything but dull. We had such a fun time working with Elizabeth and Lee, and you can see it in their photos. We hope you enjoy a few from their day!

Maggie - Bridal Session at the South Carolina Lace House
Maggie was simply and absolutely stunning.
We had such a great time working with Maggie on these portraits. Something I love as wedding gowns progress is their functionality and ability to change based on a brides needs. Maggie wanted a dress that had the ability to change from ceremony to reception, and her’s did so beautifully! With removable sleeves, she was able to get the look she wanted for her ceremony, and then have the freedom to move for the reception. We look forward to sharing more photos from her amazing day!
Charley + Danny - Wedding at the South Carolina Lace House
Charley and Danny has such a sweet and special day. Their wedding just happened to be during my favorite few weeks of every year. Towards the end of March and beginning of April is when the Lady Banks rose bloom in Columbia. We have two roses on the side of our house that have been there for over 60 years. They are one of my favorites, but only bloom once a year for about 2-3 weeks. It is a SHORT bloom, but oh so magical.
This amazing couples wedding just happened to intersect this time, and they had those beautiful frilly pompoms as a background for their amazing day. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding day.
Kelsey + Cliff - Engagement Session at Thomas Cooper Library
Kelsey and Cliff had the perfect meet cute at Thomas Cooper Library when working on a project for class. We were so tickled that they wanted to commemorate the first place they met through the engagement session! It may have even rained a bit on their session day, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time!
